My name is Neil Neumark. I am 73 years old and live in Highland Park, IL. My late father was Colonel George Neumark who served in the 788th Ordnance Company. He was awarded the Bronze Star, Silver Star and Legion of Merit medals for his service during the Italian campaign. I am reaching out to see if there are any living members of the 788th or family members of 788th soldiers who might remember my father. He often spoke of his love for his fellow members of the 788th. One name I remember is a Sgt.. Murphy. Please respond with any info. Thank you.
